Joel Beasca has 15+ years of experience in the conduct and management of evaluations, field monitoring, and M&E. Prior to joining FAO, he worked for UNODC, UNDP, UN Women and CIDA. He served at UN duty stations in Nigeria and Kuwait, and completed evaluation/monitoring assignments in the Philippines, Timor-Leste, Myanmar, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Rwanda and Palestine. He has an MBA Degree from the University of the Philippines and related training certificates from The Evaluators Institute (USA) and the Management for Development Foundation (Netherlands). He is a member of the American Evaluation Association (AEA) and the SEA Change Community of Practice.
