Evaluation Report: "UNICEF Vietnam Support To Mine Risk Education"
Overview
The objective of the evaluation was to provide an independent assessment of the
MRE supported by UNICEF in Vietnam. It sought to assess impacts, outcomes, and
the overall effectiveness of MRE. Five highly contaminated provinces were
selected for the evaluation process, namely, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh,
Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue. It is expected that the findings and
recommendations of the evaluations will be used to design future mine/UXO MRE
programs as well as other health communication programs. A number of key
questions as outlined in the ToR were addressed during the course of the
evaluation.
