Household & School Survey on the Impact of School Fee Abolition
Overview
The overall objective of this study is to assess the impact of the school fee
abolition in Yemen implemented in September 2006. This study will try to
investigate the following research questions;
- To what extent the demand for education has been affected as a result of SFA?
- How schools and families are responding to that demand?
- What is the direct and indirect cost of education to schools and families?
- What challenges do schools and families face that could be better addressed
to ensure education enrolment?
