A mid-term evaluation was conducted in 2004. The results of the evaluation were
used to modify and improve the programme where necessary in order to achieve
results. The current evaluation looks at five components: (i) level of
knowledge on HIV/AIDS, (ii) attitudes towards positive people, (iii) risk
behaviour, (iv) project implementation in and around schools and communities,
(v) sharing of knowledge with others.
UNICEF and RENSIDA shared the results of the evaluation with relevant
institutions including the Ministry of Education and Culture to incorporate
lessons learned and further improve programme / project methodologies for
similar initiatives with other partners.
