Meeting development and participation rights of adolescent girls in Malawi
Overview
The objectives of the project were:
1. To increase the number of girls participating in youth and community
development activities.
2. To improve girls’ educational status.
3. To improve reproductive health services for adolescent girls.
4. To provide a variety of vocational skills training for girls.
5. To increase girls’ economic independence.
Purpose of the Evaluation
The purpose of the evaluation was twofold, (1) to contribute towards a
synthesized report/documentation of SAY experiences in the delivery of key SAY
programme interventions of which the Malawi country project is a part, and (2)
produce an evaluation report for the Malawi project focusing on the specifics
of the Malawi experiences.
