Overview
Since 1999, the CAEIs have been operating in Mexicali and San Quintin.
Although general evaluations have been conducted in the year 2000 and in 2001,
the direct impact on children that attend the CAEIs is unknown vis-à-vis those
children that do not have access to any of the services. Likewise, the status
of the CAEIs in 2002 has not been reviewed.
To what extent has the program “Care for Children Living in Difficult
Conditions, especially in Rural Areas” met its desired objectives?
What has happened to the children that attend the CAEIs for a long amount of
time and what is the difference with those children that have not had any type
of access to similar services?
To what extent have the CAEIs become consolidated into what they have been
chartered to do and what actors have played a role in this process?
What impact has the program had on the everyday life of agricultural day
laborers and what services are made available to them?
Propósito/Objetivo:
De 1999 a la fecha, los Centros han venido funcionando en ambos valles, y
aunque se realizaron dos evaluaciones generales del Programa en el 2000 y en el
2001, aún no se conocen los impactos directos del modelo en los niños y niñas
que asisten al CAEI frente a los hijos e hijas de jornaleros agrícolas
migrantes que no son atendidos por ningún otro tipo de institución, así como
tampoco se ha evaluado el proceso en que en el año 2002, se encuentran los
Caéis.
¿Hasta dónde se han cumplido los objetivos del PAMCEDAR respecto a los niños y
niñas que atiende?,
¿Qué ha sucedido con los niños y niñas que han asistido a los CAEIs por largo
tiempo y cuál es la diferencia con respecto a los niños y niñas que no han
recibido ningún tipo de atención educativa o asistencial?,
¿Cuál es el nivel de consolidación que han alcanzado los Centros de Atención y
Educación Infantil y de qué manera han intervenido diferentes sujetos en este
proceso?,
