• Assess the contribution of the UN system to national development targets
through
the UNDAF outcomes, assess the effectiveness and efficiency by which UNDAF
Outcomes are being achieved, their sustainability and relevance to national
priorities
and goals; and
• Assess the role, relevance, efficiency and effectiveness of the UNDAF: (i) in
relation
to the issues, their underlying causes, and challenges identified by the CCA at
the
beginning of the current programme cycle and in the context of national
policies and
strategies; (ii) as a reflection of the internationally agreed goals,
particularly those in
the Millennium Declaration and relevant human rights guidance, gender equality
and mainstreaming conventions and international norms and standards guiding the
work of agencies of the UN system; and (iii) in terms of progress towards agreed
UNDAF outcomes.
