WFP Evalxchange 2021 Event III: The evidence path to gender equality - the role of impact evaluation
Overview
WFP EvalXchange is a series of virtual learning events brought to you by the Office of Evaluation of the United Nations World Food Programme.
Drawing from current WFP evaluations in the humanitarian-development field, EvalXchange is a place to learn, a time to share experiences to improve the practice of evaluation in the context of the 2030 Agenda and the UN Reform.
This year, in its second edition, EvalXchange encompasses a trio of free events every Thursday, on 18 November, 25 November and 2 December, on the Zoom platform. Join us!

Event III: The evidence path to gender equality - the role of impact evaluation
Time: 14:00 - 15:45 (Rome time) Register here to attend
Achieving gender equality and women’s empowerment will require transformative action matched with transformative measurement. This event follows the work of WFP and partners in developing a series of impact evaluations to deliver robust evidence on what works and what doesn’t in gender and cash transfer programming. Split in three parts, the session moves from the issue (what affects a woman in a household) to the response (what is being done about it) to the evidence (how we objectively evaluate results), before a moderated Q&A discussion allowing participants the opportunity to share experiences and insights and to question speakers.
