Evaluation of OHCHR Regional Gender Advisors Structure
Overview
Regional Gender Advisors are positions established in OHCHR's Regional Offices. They work in line with the strategic objectives of the Women's Rights and Gender Section by providing expert advice on the integration of women's human rights and gender perspective into the work of their respective office and undertake initiatives in the area of women's human rights and gender equality, often in partnership with other UN entities, regional organizations, national human rights institutions, civil society organizations and regional and international human rights experts. They also support initiatives on women's rights and gender equality undertaken by OHCHR Field Presences in their respective regions and provide support to human rights mechanisms in connection with their activities.Report Details
