Somalia PRRO 200443 Strengthening food and nutrition security and enhancing resilience: An Operation Evaluation
Overview
The evaluation covers the Somalia PRRO 200443 operation “Strengthening food and nutrition security and enhancing resilience”. It was intended for both accountability and learning and focuses on assessing: i) the appropriateness and coherence of the operation; ii) its results; and iii) the factors explaining the results. The evaluation assessed the following activities: nutritional support to children under five, pregnant and lactating women; HIV/TB care and treatment; nutritional assistance to internally displaced communities; general food distribution; school meals; and cash and vouchers. The evaluation, which makes a number of recommendations for the future, was managed and conducted by a consultancy firm, with fieldwork taking place in January 2015.?
