Overview
The meta-synthesis report provides validated lessons and solutions to strengthen United Nations youth programmes, particularly around youth participation and youth and human rights. It facilitates a deeper understanding of how to enable key actors, step up accountability for and with youth, engage youth in multiple capacities, and strengthen representation and inclusion of youth in programmes.
The lessons were distilled from 150+ youth evaluations and contribute to increasing accountability for results within the United Nations system. This interagency knowledge collaboration was co-led by the Evaluation Offices of UNFPA and UNICEF along with EvalYouth Global Network, Office of the Secretary-General's Envoy on Youth and FAO, ILO, IOM, DPPA/PBSO, UNDP and UNIDO.
