From Evaluation Use to Influence: Assessing the Impact of Policy Evaluations
Policy evaluations are crucial for assessing the merits of public policies. However, their ultimate value lies in their potential to influence those very policies and contribute to societal improvement. This webinar challenges the traditional notion of evaluation use and advocate for a shift in focus towards evaluation influence.
During this session, we:
- Explored how evaluation influence is conceptualized and measured
- Presented examples of evaluation influence assessment
- Highlighted the conditions that foster meaningful use and influence, from evaluation quality to institutionalization
