Overview

This report is a Terminal Evaluation of the UNEP/GEF Project “Multi Country Project to Strengthen Institutional Capacities on LMO Testing in Support of National Decision Making” (GEF ID 5283), implemented between July 2017 and December 2022. The overall objective of the project was therefore to build and strengthen institutional and human capacities for the detection of LMOs to support national biosafety decision-making processes in selected countries in Southern Africa: Angola, DRC, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi and Mozambique.
