Sixth Comprehensive Evaluation of the GEF (OPS6)
Overview
Replenishments of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) are informed by an independent evaluation and assessment of GEF results and performance. This sixth comprehensive evaluation of the GEF (OPS6) aims to provide solid evaluative evidence to inform the negotiations for the seventh replenishment of the GEF. The objective of OPS6 is to evaluate the extent to which the GEF is achieving the objectives set out in GEF-6 (2014–18), and to identify potential improvements going into GEF-7. This report also assesses the relevance of the GEF in today’s changing landscape for environmental finance.Report Details
