The objectives of this study are as follows.
- To assess the knowledge of VFs and CMs on sectoral issues (such as nutrition
and care, early childhood development, child health, water and sanitation,
education, child protection and gender empowerment).
- To assess the skills of VFs and CMs in facilitating CAP, and document any
problems or constraints they face while using tools and during the facilitation
process.
- To assess the ability of VFs to provide support to CMs in mobilizing families
and facilitating discussion of issues related to women and children.
- To evaluate the effectiveness of DACAW’s training programmes in imparting
knowledge to VFs and CMs, focusing on the processes and methods used in
training programmes.
- To identify problems and constraints faced by VFs while working with both
partner organizations and CMs.
- To assess the impact of VFs’ and CMs’ work on improving the situation of
children and women in the community.
- To identify a sustainable or components of sustainable model for local bodies
with respect to training, support and supervision, remuneration, TOR, and
working relationship.
- To suggest ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of future DACAW
training programmes, including recommendations for enhancing sustainability.
