The purpose of the evaluation was to assess how CFS models have been
implemented in multiple contexts to improve education quality, and to provide
data on the extent to which key CFS principles of child-centeredness,
inclusiveness, and democratic participation are being realized in countries
that are implementing CFS. The evaluation was also expected to create CFS
assessment tools and provide a baseline against which future progress can be
evaluated.
