To ensure the availability of documented evidence to support strengthening of the Child Protection response, a formative evaluation of the national child protection system in Jamaica will be conducted . It is anticipated that this evaluation will address the strengths and weaknesses of the performance of the child protection system in Jamaica.identify priority actions that will improve the child protection system and ultimately lead to better results for children. The Government of Jamaica will use the findings of the evaluation to guide its establishment of permanent structures and procedures to strengthen the coordination of the child protection system. The evidence from this evaluation will also inform the development and implementation of UNICEF’s next Country Programme 2022-2026.
