Possible extension of the current country programme in line with the UNDAF extension creates the opportunity to undertake a full country programme evaluation (CPE) in early 2020 which would focus on the overall country programme performance but also provide forward looking recommendations on strategic positioning. The Country Programme evaluation will include assessment of UNICEF’s contribution to social norm change to be able to assess its value addition as one of key cross-cutting strategies to ensure the results. It is expected that the conclusions and recommendations related to the behaviour change strategies with the context of a comprehensive Country Programme evaluation will ensure the lessons are taken into account when developing the next programme cycle.
