Evaluability Assessment
Overview
The UNICEF PNG Country Programme 2018-2022 is in the second year of implementation with a Mid-Term Review scheduled for 2020 and a Country Programme Evaluation in 2021. The CPD was approved by the Executive Board in 2017 with the Programme Strategy Notes drafted, reviewed and endorsed following the Strategic Moment of Reflection, also in 2017. UNICEF PNG underwent an internal audit in 2018 that generated numerous recommendations, with sub-recommendations, including those relating to:
1. “Convergence for increased impact”
2. “Evidence based planning and programming”
3. “Programme evaluation”
