In 2017, CRDP partnered with UNICEF to re-design the national teacher training curriculum focusing on conceptual understanding and the transfer of acquired competencies into teachers’ professional practicThe TTCM approach is key to address the challenges of the Lebanese educational system, and to uplift the quality of training, teaching, and learning. Crisis often accentuate the gaps of inequality with severe repercussions on the equitable balance of learning. Thus, this evaluation aims at studying the impact of the newly developed and adopted Teacher Training Curriculum Model (TTCM) at the Centre of Education for Educational Research and Development (CRDP) / Pre-service and In-service training Bureau (PITB) on the quality of teacher learning and practice in public schools.
