- To document the process of psychosocial project
- To assess the key strengths and limitations of the process
- To suggest the way forward for the Gujarat Psychosocial Project
- To do a desk review of some other psychosocial interventions in India
- To suggest the positioning for the UNICEF involvement in psychosocial interventions in India, keeping in mind the country paper on child protection for the plan period 2003 to 2008
