Scoping report in preparation for the Global Evaluation of UNICEF work in contributing to poverty reduction, including in humanitarian and fragile settings
Overview
UNICEF has been supporting the strengthening of national capacities, measurement and monitoring of poverty as well as providing technical assistance to increased financing for the scale-up of child-sensitive inclusive social programs, including in humanitarian settings.
Given UNICEF continued support to routinely monitor child poverty, and address its critical drivers, including in humanitarian and fragile contexts settings, the evaluation will look at how the work translated into specific commitments in policies, legislation, budget allocations and socioeconomic and sectoral strategies, including securing financing for the SDGs at scale.
