The evaluation will serve to assess if the assumptions underlying and objectives formulated for the project for the MPS were validated and achieved as well as to ascertain whether the MPS brings as the value for improving the social inclusion of children and their families, especially of the most vulnerable.
The evaluation of the MPS is a key element in the process of promoting the scale-up of the MPS at national level with the line ministries that are part of the project steering committee and at local level with the county and local authorities. The evidence generated by the interventions at local level and the lessons learned will be used for advocacy and policy advice with authorities and stakeholders at local and national levels to ensure that legislation and policies incorporate an adequate focus child and family centered and integrated service delivery strategies.
