The purpose of the evaluation is to contribute to improve future adolescent development and participation programmes through feedback of lessons learned. The primary evaluation objectives are to measure the extent to which planned, and any unintended results have been attained during the programme’s implementation, and how the overall goal and four objectives stated above have been met.
The main objective of this formative evaluation is to assess the relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability of the Youth Life-Skills program based on its Theory of Change (including the expected results, management structures, partnerships, strategies, implementation processes) and by using data and information from the Engagement Monitoring System.
It is imperative that the analysis of information collected will be assessed using the equity, gender, and results-based approaches. Therefore, it is expected to shed light on differences based on gender, marginalized groups and excluded populations.
