Mid-term evaluation of the Maternal and Newborn Health Thematic Fund Phase III 2018-2022
Overview
The evaluation assessed the MHTF's performance in supporting maternal and newborn health (MNH) and rights in 32 high-mortality countries. It focused on how the MHTF strengthens health systems, increases equity in access to SRHR services, improves quality of care, and promotes gender equality. The evaluation aimed to analyze progress towards the MHTF's goals and capture good practices to inform future UNFPA approaches to MNH and SRHR.
